just came back from band camp.
bushed.
burntout.
physically and mentally.
but i'm so loving it. =)
call me crazy but its a totally refreshing change from my usual way of life.
everyday is a physical and mental challenge.
the intense physical activities, the stress of how the formations would turn out.
the pressure to live up to the TK Band champion title. and to carry on the legacy our seniors have left behind waiting for us to take the helms and direct the band down her path of glory.
every night i slept, only to wake up in the morning, refreshed and rejuvenated.
ready for whatever the day had to throw at me.
i bonded with my section on the field.
i bonded with my group at the meal table.
i bonded with my juniors during games.
i bonded with my seniors during sectionals.
everything we did, we did together.
we cried, we laughed, we suffered, we learnt.
i felt a new sensation.
one which i have never felt before, till i joined TK Band.
i felt that i was finally part of something.
a part of a real family.
my true section. pure TK Trombones.
it strengthened my beliefs and my character.
i come back fom camp a changed person.
stronger, more determined.

and sunburnt with a really bad case of heat rash. -_-
but the most important thing i've learnt is that, in TK Band, its one for all and all for one.
no one is left behind and everyone plays an important role in formations.
one gap and the entire formation is ruined.
no one eats when the whole band isnt assembled together during meal times.
every person counts.
everybody is a part of something. be it a formation or a section.
i never feel alone when i'm in band.
i have the world's greatest seniors whom i love dearly.
the people who push me to greater heights and the people who help pick me up when i fail.
siew min, sujun, suhaili and zhafir.
i am finally a part of something.
i know that i'm important. everyone is.
i am a part of TK Band - Best Band in the Land.
